Headless body found in Umiam

SHILLONG, JULY 10: A headless body was found floating on the surface of the water at Umiam, Mawdun Iapngor recently, police informed on Monday.

Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities were observed.

After completion of post mortem examination the dead body has been kept at Civil hospital, morgue room, Shillong for identification and claim, they said.

Police requested relatives and friends of any missing person to identify the deceased at Shillong civil hospital.
