Grenade hurled at Tura PO

TURA,  JUNE 7: Two motorbike borne persons threw a hand grenade at Tura police outpost around 7.50 pm on Friday. Fortunately, the grenade fell on the roof top and failed to explode. The bikers fled away from the spot. The identities of the bikers are yet to be ascertained whether they belong to any militant group is also not known. There was only a sentry at the police beat house  when the incident took place as the five others who were  on duty had gone to an accident spot.-By Our Reporter
