SHILLONG, MAY 25: The state government has approved the proposal for setting up of temporary wholesale vegetable market at the Iew-Mawlong parking lot here.
After a review meeting held on Monday, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong told reporters that the first floor and second floor of the parking lot will be utilized as wholesale vegetable market.
“We have left it to the deputy commissioner, East Khasi Hills for working out the modalities to start the wholesale market at the earliest,” he said
