GNLA militant killed

SHILLONG, NOV 21: GNLA militant Indian A Sangma was during the gun battle in Sonabil village near Garobadha in West Garo hills district between the SWAT and SOT commandos and the militants on Thursday.  The Tura SOT and SWAT commandos conducted special operation and was led by the arrested GNLA militant Jackuis A Sangma to the village. During the exchange of fire between the security forces and the GNLA militants, Indian A Sangma, who is twenty-three years old was killed. Police recovered one pistol and magazine from his possession.- By Our Reporter
