Flyover delay

SHILLONG, MAR 17: Meghalaya urban affairs minister Ronnie V Lyngdoh today informed the Assembly that the delay of the project for road cum flyover from Rap’s Mansion to Sweeper lane, Iewduh was due to litigation.

“The acquisition and transfer of land required for the project is yet to be completed,” Lyngdoh said in his reply to a query raised by opposition UDP legislator Metbah Lyngdoh.

To a query, the minister informed that matter is under litigation after it was filed by two land owners.
