SHILLONG, APR 9: TheWest Garo hills district administration has warned the FKJGP, who had called for an indefinite night road blockade, not to take laws into its hand and made it clear that if anybody is found resorting to any form of violence action will be taken against them as per the law. The warning came after the West Garo hills district administration appealed to the FKJGP to call off the agitation.
The appealed was made after the district administration convened an emergency meeting with the agitating ngo and others ngos which also included senior citizens, Tura Merchant Association on Tuesday afternoon at DRDA conference hall, Tura.
During the meeting the district administration along with other ngos who were present in the meeting appealed to the FKGJP to call off the proposed agitation considering the adverse effect it would have on general public.
