Faulty EVM in Baghmara

TURA, MAY 16: Tura Lok Sabha returning officer Pravin Bakshi informed that the result of the Tura Lok Sabha seat was delayed because of the malfunctioning of the EVM in Baghmara. He said the said EVM showed margin of votes between the winning and the runner up candidates having highest votes which did not tally with the votes polled. He said the result was declared for the Tura seat after obtaining due permission from the Election Commission of India as the votes polled in this particular EVM is being kept aside and the matter is being referred to the ECI.- By Our Reporter
