SHILLONG, SEPT 8: A moderate intensity earthquake hit Shillong city on Sunday evening at around 7.10 pm. Experts said that the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.5 on richter scale. As the earthquake rocked this reporter who was in one of the cinema halls of the city saw chaos when the audience who were watching movie suddenly panicked and run towards the exit of the hall. Though the audience panicked but it did not lead to stampede which could have left many injured.-By Our Reporter
