SHILLONG, SEPT 16: The country’s renowned Dental Clinic Chain, ‘Aesthetica’, the provider of holistic dental care and facial surgery has collaborated with Shillong’s Woodland Hospital, to launch its first centre in Shillong.
The new centre was inaugurated by Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare minister AL Hek on Monday. This centre specializes in addressing dental related challenges, like Keyhole Dental Implants, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Treatments and Smile Designing Procedures.
Inaugurating the centre, Hek said that ninety percent of the people in Meghalaya cannot afford expensive treatment outside the state, therefore health care system should be made affordable to the people here, within.
Dr Kamlesh Kothari, Head of Department of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgey, Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata and Director, Aesthetica, said, “Our goal is to provide a pleasant experience to our patients in a hygienic environment, a place where scientific knowledge, artistry and personalized attention are combined to deliver the best in dental and maxillofacial surgery”.
The key areas of focus at Aesthetica, Shillong Centre, would be ‘smile designing’ and ‘stitch-less’ dental implants. Smile designing would range from simple dental alignment and addressing discolouration problems to advanced cosmetic jaw surgeries and computer guided facial reconstruction surgeries.- By Our Reporter
