DC orders coal trucks

SHILLONG, APR 28:  Following the National Green Tribunal direction, the East Khasi Hills deputy commissioner directed that all coal laden trucks plying within the district should be covered with tarpaulin except for the rear part of the truck which shall be covered with transparent plastic sheet. This order shall come into force with immediate effect and violation of this order will be dealt with as per law, the DC statement warned.- By Our Reporter
