SHILLONG, FEB 14: The state on Monday recorded 1 COVID-19 related death, taking the number of fatalities to 1,563 even as 25 have tested positive for the virus and the total active cases now stand at 716.
The fresh cases include 13 from East Khasi Hills, 3 West Garo Hills, 1 North Garo Hills, 2 West Jaintia Hills, 3 Ri Bhoi and 2 East Jaintia Hills.
A total of 59 persons have recovered from the viral infection.
So far, the state has detected a total of 93,016 COVID-19 cases out of which 716 are active cases, 90,737 recovered and 1,563 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 272 followed by West Garo Hills 115, Ri Bhoi 92, West Jaintia Hills 88, North Garo Hills 28, Eastern West Khasi Hills 23, West Khasi Hills 22, South West Garo Hills 20, East Jaintia Hills 17, East Garo Hills 14, South Garo Hills 13 and South West Khasi Hills 12.
