SHILLONG, SEPT 9: The Congress Bhawan at Mawkyrwat was partially damage when miscreants made attempts to burnt down the office at around 7.30 am on Monday. Sources informed that five percent of the building including window panes and furniture were damaged in the incident. The district police have registered a case of arson and started its investigation. Following the attempt to set the Congress office on fire, security has been beefed up in the district.-By Our Reporter
