CM distributes portfolios to his ministers

SHILLONG, AUG 26:  After the swearing in of the two new ministers Ronnie V Lyngdoh and Martin M Danggo in the forenoon, chief minister Mukul Sangma reshuffled the portfolios to his cabinet ministers late on Friday evening.

Between Friday forenoon and in the evening, it was an anxious moments for the ministers, bureaucrats and even businessmen who were eagerly waiting for the distribution of the portfolios.

If Sangma had reconstituted his cabinet for the first time, he also had effected major changes in the portfolios of the ministers for the first time ever from the time he took over the mantle of chief ministership for second term in 2013.
