Closure of educational institutions

SHILLONG, APR 13: In order to prevent the possibility of an outbreak and spread of COVID-19, all District and Sub-Divisional functionaries have been instructed to extend the closure of all Educational Institutions in the State from 16^th April, 2020 to 30^th April, 2020.

During the closure period, parents are advised to keep their wards occupied and updated through online learning resources using Government back repositories like swayam.gov.in, swayamprabha.gov.in, epathshala.nic.in, chachi.app and Diksha. Parents are also advised to keep their wards within their safe environment and avoid contact with people and ensure proper social distancing protocol.

It is also informed that the Education Department has partnered with crschool.online learning and schools are advised to use the resources which are free of cost.
