SHILLONG, OCT 15: BSF seized large amount of fake Indian, Nepalese and Bhutanese currency notes in the Indo-Bangladesh border of Barsora in South West Khasi Hills of Meghalaya on Sunday. The fake currencies of the three countries were being smuggled by twenty eight years old Vinod Rasali who is a resident of Sonitpur in Assam.
Rasali was apprehended by the border guard while he was trying to infiltrate into India from Bangladesh. BSF said the seized fake Indian currency was being smuggled from Bangladesh and was meant for circulation in the Indian market. Rasali along with the seized currencies have been handed over to the police.- By Our Reporter
