BJP launch “Good Will Mission” for NE people safety


 

Shillong, August   26: Mounting   a nationwide campaign to ensure the safety of people of north east India   origin in mainland India, the BJP good will team is  arriving Shillong   Sunday evening.

The   good will mission team will meet leaders of ngos and the student community.   They will be leaving Shillong on Tuesday.

After   the people of north east were attacked in Pune followed by “smses” campaign   threatening to attack them in Karnataka and other South Indian states over   the communal pogrom between Bodos and Bangladeshis migrants in Assam, many   people from the region returned back to their states.

On the backdrop of this, the BJP decided to   launched its “Good Will Mission” all over the country to ensure the safety of   the North Eastern region people residing in mainland India.

The   four- member  mission is headed by Sudarshan   Bhagat, Member of Parliament (Jharkhand), Raj Purohit, former minister and BJP    Mumbai unit president, Nalin Satyakam   Kohli, member, national executive BJP and Ashish Sood ,  BJP Delhi unit general secretary. By Our Reporter
