Award for cops

 Women police head constable Sabitri Rabha of Laitumkhrah Traffic Branch and head constable Chandradhar Basumatry of Madanrting Traffic Branch were also felicitated with a certificate of appreciation and a momento.

The trust was initiated and conceptualized by a retired IAS officer, who is a former additional chief secretary of the state Prashan Naik and other dignitaries.

The aim of the trust is to award common people who have contributed to the well being of Society.

The award has encouraged the Police Personnel of Shillong Traffic Police to put in more effort.
