SHILLONG, JUNE 8: The Governor Banwarilal Purohit has summoned the sitting of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly on June 12.
This was after the proposal of the Congress led State government to convene a special session for discussion and consideration of the Draft Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill of the Assembly.
The Bill was recently approved by the state Cabinet.
