SHILLONG, FEB 5: Two arm dealers were arrested by the police from a village in South Garo hills district while they were trying to deliver ammunition to the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) on Wednesday.
The two were arrested from Kherepara village while they were proceeding to Baghmara to deliver ammunition to the outfit (GNLA) led by Jack, police sources said.
The two arm suppliers have been identified as Chesrang D Sangma of Betasing and Bardan Ch Marak of Oragitok. A total of 100 rounds of 32 ammunition were recovered from their possession, police said adding interrogation is going on. – By Our Reporter
