SHILLONG, MAY 22: Police arrested seven arm smugglers from Chibragre under Rongram police out-post in West Garo Hills district on Wednesday. Two pistols, five magazines, seven rounds of live ammunition, eight cell-phones and Rs. 5,000 were recovered from the smugglers. In another incident police also recovered a decomposed body of one Silnam N. Marak (22) from a jungle at Mansinggre under Bajengdoba police station in North Garo Hills on Wednesday.It is suspected that the deceased had been murdered by unknown miscreants.
