SHILLONG, JUN 14: The ANVC (B) Friday said that it is determined to sign the ‘final-settlement’ of the tripartite agreement that was initiated between both factions of ANVC, state government and the union government even without any official “suspension of operation” by the government.
“We are determined to sign the final settlement before anything goes wrong,” the outfit’s publicity secretary Doang Shira said in a press communiqué issued on Friday.
The ANVC (B) said that despite reminders, the state government has not announce “Suspension of Operation” against ANVC(B) and Shira said, “This means they (govt) will continue the operation against ANVC(B) even after the “final settlement”, just as they did after the signing of the draft agreement.”
The outfit further said that the settlement have to be signed to justify the debts the outfit had to the people for their support and the assurance they made to the public to give them a better life through its movement.
The outfit said that it suspects there is a foul play going on in the state, it says that the matter needs to be checked by the government.
On the disappearance of the outfit’s chairman, the ANVC-B said that the authorities and officers of the state have denied which may be an intention or the kidnapping was done without the knowledge of the authorities. –By Our Reporter
