ANVC (B) militant arrested

SHILLONG, MAY 6: A hardcore ANVC (B) militant was arrested along with arms from a remote village in West Khasi Hills district on Tuesday. A police team carried out operation and arrested the militant identified as Thawar M Marak (22) from Ranighat village under Arodonga police outpost.  West Khasi Hills SP Sylvester Nongtynger informed, “one .32 pistol along with 3 live ammunition was also seized from him.” He said a case would be registered against him under appropriate sections of the law.- By Our Reporter
