Shillong, Nov 11: Just as the GNLA denied having a hand in the firing in the South Garo hills killing three civilians, the ANVC-B also refuted the accusation of the police in that the outfit was involved.
The GNLA was prompt in issuing statement and denying that the outfit had any hand in the
incident. the ANVC(B) said it came to know about the incident from the papers. It is fair
enough to understand who was closer to the firing site, the outfit said in a statement issued here on Sunday.
The ANVC B further said for the last couple of months it has been highlighting the plans of the foreign agencies through the GNLAs. It said some have ignored our statement where we hinted procurement of foreign arms, explosive trainings, shipment of IEDs, and the plan for the upcoming election, the outfit stated adding as far as it was concerned, the organization had made everything public and transparent.
The ANVC(B) said, “We have done our part, what is to come from here is up to the government and the police to handle.” –By Our Reporter
