SHILLONG, JAN 19: The state has recorded 3 new COVID-19 cases and 18 recoveries on Tuesday.
Director of Health Services (MI), Dr Aman War said all the new cases are from East Khasi Hills district.
He informed that 18 patients who recovered from the viral infection include 14 from West Jaintia Hills district, 2 East Jaintia Hills district and 2 East Khasi Hills district.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,710 COVID-19 cases out of which 133 are active cases, 13,433 recovered and 144 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has 101 active cases, East Jaintia Hills 14, West Jaintia Hills 9, Ri Bhoi 3, North Garo Hills 3 and West Khasi Hills 2.
On the other hand, of the 3,20,181 persons who have tested for COVID-19 in the state as on date, 3,06,471 were tested negative for the virus even as 59 persons are in institutional quarantine and 88 under home quarantine.
There are 84,347 entrants from outside the state.
