14-yr-old girl kidnapped from SWKH

SHILLONG, AUG 30: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by a suspected Bangladeshi national from her village in South West Khasi Hills district.

An FIR filed by the family member of the victim with the Nonghyllam police station informed that the minor girl went missing from their residence at 6.45 pm on August 28.

The complaint said that the family strongly suspected that one Moiiabul Ali had kidnapped their minor daughter. They urged the police to rescue her and punish the culprit as per law.

Sources close to the family informed that the girl was abducted for forced marriage by the suspected Bangladeshi national.
