SHILLONG, JAN 5: Veteran BJP leader and West Bengal governor Keshari Nath Tripathi will be sworn in as the new Meghalaya governor on Tuesday. The 81 year old Tripathi is all set to become the 14th governor of Meghalaya.
Tripathi will be administered the oath of office by the chief justice of Meghalaya High Court Uma Nath Singh at the swearing-in-ceremony to be held at the Raj Bhawan.
The West Bengal Governor, who will hold additional charge of Meghalaya, replaced Dr KK Paul, who was transferred to Uttarakhand. Dr Paul is however also holding additional charge as the Mizoram governor.- By Our Reporter
