Misbehaving fashion owner

SHILLONG, MAR 2: New Fashion owner Abdul Mukit was caught and beaten up by the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) for his alleged misbehavior offending his female workers.

The misbehavior of the garment shop owner located at Khyndailad was videotape by one of the female workers, who immediately informed KSU members.

Acting on the complaint, KSU members caught Abdul Mukit and took him to the KSU office before being handed over to the police.

According to female workers, Mukit has the habit of misbehaving infront of them and at times even infront of the customers.

“I decided to videotape him while he was misbehaving which we find offending us women folks,” the worker said.

Speaking to reporters, KSU-girl’s wing organizing secretary P Marbaniang said, “We urged the authority concerned to take stern action and punish him as per law.” She also urged women not to keep quite but to come forward to report such issue.-By Our Reporter
