SHILLONG, APR 9: Babul Dey of Polo was arrested on Tuesday by the police for assaulting a woman sub-inspector Celina Sangma who interrogated him for his alleged involvement in physically torturing his spouse, police said. Police said that Dey was arrested for assaulting his wife Bani Dey and subsequently when Sangma from the Pasteur beat house was interrogating him for his offence he assaulted the lady police officer.- By Our Reporter
