Polls:Cong release names

SHILLONG, JAN 23: The Congress party on Thursday night released the list of its candidates for the forthcoming district council elections. The names that was announced by the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president DD Lapang is for only the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC).

Of the twenty nine constituencies, the Congress release the name twenty-six for the constituencies who will be contesting the MDC elections as the party candidates. The names to the  Nongthymmai, Laitumkhrah-Malki  and  the Nongkrem constituencies are pending.
