Three meritorious students from Hill Crest Higher Secondary School were felicitated today for their outstanding achievement in the recent SSLC examinations. The ceremony, held on May 10th, 2024, celebrated the students’ exceptional performance in Health Education, where all three secured a perfect score of 100%.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. MacDonald Marbaniang, Joint Director of the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education, as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries included the school’s advisor, Ma’am E.C. Pariat, the Rangbah Shnong of Rynjah, Mr. Eddie War, and the school’s Principal, Sir A.L. Pariat.
The ceremony acknowledged the remarkable accomplishment of the students: Uma Rani Naorem (16th position), Y. Sonali Devi (19th position), and Eshratara Begum (20th position). The school also extended its appreciation to the dedicated teachers who played a vital role in the students’ success. Miss P. Bordoloi (Vice Principal), Miss Gracia Lyngdoh Tron (Health Education ) and Sir B.B. Shaw (Mathematics) were lauded for their contribution.
