GNLA kills another informer

SHILLONG, AUG 13: In less than a week, suspected Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) militants shot dead Hawart G Momin on Monday whom the outfit suspected of being a police informer in East Garo hills district.  Police said Momin was shot dead by the group led by Jimmy at Rongjeng, in Chibilbang, East Garo hills district.

On August 9 suspected GNLA militants shot dead fifty years old Simon Ch Marak, at Koksi Nengsat village under Songsak police station. Marak was also accused of being a police informer. According to latest reports, the GNLA is consolidating its position by recruiting more members into its fold.- By Our Reporter
