SHILLONG, AUG 9: For former Ar-Hima ( Rangdajied Football Club ) skipper Eugenson Lyngdoh, it is a homecoming. The club where he grew honing his football skill is now happy to have him back after his stint with the Shillong Lajong from where he played the big I-League. Lyngdoh says, “It is nice to be back in the club where I grew up and now ready to play a different level of football.” He is looking forward to playing with his old club mates like Dapbor, Restom, Poibiang, Ambil, Stephen, Bansarai and Pynshondor at an elevated level of football. He said I learnt playing football along with them and now we will be playing together again.
Lyngdoh felt it will not only fun playing together but also a great challenge as they will be expected to perform well and prove their talent at the highest level of Indian football.
Lyngdoh had two years stint with Shillong Lajong. He said a derby match will be interesting. He said, “Match between Lajong and Rangdajied will be interesting one and feel good to see club where I grew up will be playing against the big clubs of India”.
Speaking about Rangdajied new coach Santosh Kashyap, Lyngdoh said, “He is a good coach, I have learn lots under him”. He also expressed his gratitude to Shillong Lajong owner Larsing M and coaches P. Reddy and Thongboi who he said believed in him and gave him the platform to play the I-League which further improved his game.- By Our Reporter
