Brazilian, Korean strikers to join Rangdajied

Santosh KashyapSHILLONG, AUG 7: A Brazilian and North Korean strikers who are playing in Japanese 2nd division will be joining the Randajied United FC soon to strengthen the team formation.

Rangadajied chief coach Santosh Kashyap said that the two players are likely to reach by mid of August. He said on Wednesday, “We have seen their video and that they looked impressive. The standard of the Japanese league is high and we hope their presence will strengthen our side.”

A new entrant to the I-League Rangdajied United FC players are undergoing rigorous training and preparing for the coming season.

The club has retained South Korean midfielder Shin Hojun and signed Churchill Brothers defender Lamine Tamba for the upcoming season. On the club schedule Kashyap said, “Before going for the I-League we would love   to play some competitive tournament and the only tournament that is coming upbefore the league is Durand Cup.”

Kashyap said he will talk to the management of the club and see if the team could participate in Durand Cup as the schedule falls at the same time when the local league kicks off”.

Talking about the pro-licence camp that he attended recently in Mumbai Kashyap said, “It  was excellent, got to learn many things especially in the field of management and  leadership quality.” He also informed that the camp focused more on modern days conditioning training”.- By Our Reporter
