ANVC(B) donates blood

SHILLONG, MAY 29: The ANVC (B) cadres and their chairman Rimpu N Marak donated blood to the blood bank of Tura civil hospital on Wednesday.Rimpu N. Marak was the first one to donate and his cadres and officers of the outfit followed.ANVC(B) said the act of donating blood is a gesture towards the sick and the poor who were endlessly waiting for blood as the blood bank was without blood to give to the sick.

The ANVC(B) said blood donation was an urgent need for many who needed blood.In a press communiqué the outfit assured, “This is only the beginning.”The outfit said that it is determined to donate more blood in future even as it expressed its gratitude to the doctors and those who assisted the cadres in donating blood for a humanitarian cause.- By Our Reporter
