SHILLONG, MAY 20: The Association of West Khasi Hills DSC Passed 2010 demanded revalidation of the DSC result 2010 and ensures appointments are given to successful candidates who are waiting for being absorbed in the government.
The association letter submitted to chief minister Mukul Sangma on Monday said, “We demand the government to reconsider the matter and grant revalidation of the list till all the left-out successful candidates are recommended and treated equally by the government.”
Eighty-four Lower Division Assistants (LDAs), 31 Sectional Assistants (SAs), 35 Gramsevak (GS) and 11 Tracers were declared as successful in the result published on May 31, 2010.
However, two years down the line, the DSC West Khasi hills has revalidated the results twice and recommended only 47 LDAs, 13 SAs, 18 GSs and all tracers for appointment in various government departments within the district.
The letter said, “The remaining 37 LDAs, 18 SAs and 17 GSs deserve to be treated in equal manner as those who got their appointment,” the letter said. –By Our Reporter
