SHILLONG, MAY 04: St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School swept as many as eight positions in the science stream and three in the commerce stream while St Edmund’s College (Higher Secondary Section) came close as it also got two positions in the science and five in commerce stream in the result of the Meghalaya Board of School Education Higher Secondary School Leaving certificate examination 2013 declared on Saturday.
In the science stream the seventh and ten positions were shared by the students of the St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School taking the number of students from this school who figured in the first ten positions to ten.
Student from the Laban Bengalee’ Boys Higher Secondary School and Don Bosco School, Tura also got one position each in the top ten list of the science stream.
Beside St Edmund’s College and St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Seven Set Annexe and St John Bosco Boys Higher Secondary School, Cherrapunjee also got a position each in the commerce stream.
Prityush Haldar ofSt. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School top the first ten list in the science stream while school mate Arunava Kar Purkayastha top the commerce stream.
