SHILLONG, MAY 3: Two days after a vehicle of the District Forest Officer was burnt down by miscreants, a Bolero vehicle allotted to state economic & statistic director Arnel Marbaniang was also set ablaze at Lower Lachumiere on Friday afternoon.
The Bolero bearing the registration no ML-01-1886 was set ablaze by unidentified miscreants at around 3 pm inside the office compound
The vehicle was parked inside the office compound police said and immediately after it caught fire the office employees extinguished the fire. The vehicle was partially damaged.
Police are investigating the case and are trying to identify and nab the culprits behind the incident.
On Wednesday the vehicle of the DFO was set ablaze when miscreants lobbed a petrol bomb while it was parked inside the Forest department guest house.- By Our Reporter
