Vibrance!

Shillong and colours. Yes. Whatsoever the reason may be, a wide variety of colours can be easily worn in this city. The weather favours it greatly. So all you need to do is wear them and set out! Hot pink, yellow, deep blue, leaf green, orange,  violet, black, grey- these colours have been skinned  by the girls over years in a very fashionable way. Gone are the days when a woman would be home all day; these colours have brought out the new bold look of an average Shillongite woman, making her noticeable and independent. While loud colours are very popular amongst girls within 25, the career women and housewives have been wearing a lot of greens, mustard, whites and maroons. Be it in jainsems, trousers, dresses or tops, these colours don’t seem to get out-of-fashion in this town, making most people wonder ‘who’s that chic?’ Certainly Shillong has a style statement of its own!
