MHRC seeks report into assault on HYC leader at Pynursla PS

The Meghalaya Human Rights Commission (MHRC), Shillong, has taken cognizance on the complaint filed by the Central Body of the Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) signed by the President and the Secretary against the alleged assault by the 2^nd OC incharge of Pynursla Police Station against the President of the Riwar Mihngi Circle at Pynursla Police Station.

Notice has been issued to the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya, to submit a detailed report to the Commission within 15 days.

This was informed by the Secretary, Meghalaya Human Rights Commission.
