SHILLONG, JUNE 13: A 17-year-old girl, who had gone missing from Shillong, was recovered in West Bengal on Monday.
Prachi Ghosh, a resident of Upper Mawprem Shillong had gone missing since June 2, from St Margareth School, Laitumkhrah.
A case was registered with the Laitumkhrah police station.
Continuous efforts were made to trace the missing girl, East Khasi Hills SP Sylvester Nongtnger said on Tuesday.
On acquiring some clues on the matter, a police team from East Khasi Hills district led by Sub Inspector Md Kayum proceeded to West Bengal in search of the missing girl and recovered Prachi Ghosh on June 12 from Malda Town, West Bengal, he said.
