PWD EE yet to reply to showcause

SHILLONG, MAR 25: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Public Works Department Prestone Tynsong on Friday said the executive engineers of the PWD (Buildings) Ransom Sutnga has been asked to reply to the notice seeking explanation for his alleged involvement in political activities, before the end of this month.

“The show cause has been issued to him so we are waiting for the reply. (Time given) is up to the end of this month,” Tynsong told reporters.

Asked, the deputy CM said that he cannot say anything right now as action by the government will depend upon the justification given by Sutnga in his reply.

“Once we receive that we will see what is to be done,” he said.
