SHILLONG, FEB 3: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong on Thursday said the state is expecting to get not less than Rs 200 crore under the central roads fund (CRF) during the current financial year.
Tynsong informed that he met Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari during his recent visit to New Delhi.
“We discussed the CRF and I am very sure we are going to get not less than Rs 200 crore for this current financial year,” he said.
Earlier last year, the state government had sought additional funds under the CRF for taking up more projects on national highways.
