SHILLONG, DEC 28: The state on Tuesday recorded 3 new COVID-19 cases even as the total active cases stand at 60.
Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said one each was detected from East Khasi Hills, Ri Bhoi and West Garo Hills.
Dr War also informed that 2 persons have recovered from the viral infection.
Of these, one from East Garo Hills and one from East Khasi Hills.
He said the state has registered zero COVID-19 deaths during the past 24 hours.
So far, the state has detected a total of 84,802 COVID-19 cases out of which 60 are active cases, 83,259 recovered and 1,483 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has witnessed decline in the number of COVID-19 with 44 followed by West Garo Hills 7, Ri Bhoi 4, East Jaintia Hills 3, East Garo Hills 1 and North Garo Hills 1.
