Police warned action against misusing of car pass

SHILLONG, JUL 26: East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Shailendra Bamaniya on Monday warned that strict action will be taken as per law against anyone found moving without a pass during curfew hours.

In a statement, Bamaniya informed that many were found misusing the car passes issued by the competent authorities even during the curfew hours which start from 7 pm to 5 am.

He said all are therefore requested to avoid movement during the curfew hours. He added that vehicles only with a curfew pass are exempted from the restriction.
