SHILLONG, JAN 29: The state has recorded 4 new COVID-19 cases and 11 recoveries on Friday.
Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said the new cases included 2 from East Khasi Hills district, 1 Ri Bhoi district and 1 West Jaintia Hills district.
He said the 11 patients who recovered from the viral infection include 10 from East Khasi Hills district and 1 from Ri Bhoi district.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,753 COVID-19 cases out of which 83 are active cases, 13,524 recovered and 146 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has 72 active cases, East Jaintia Hills 3, Ri Bhoi 3, West Khasi Hills 2, South West Garo Hills 1, West Garo Hills 1 and West Jaintia Hills 1.
On the other hand, of the 3,33,315 persons who have tested for COVID-19 in the state as on date, 3,19,562 were tested negative for the virus even as 12 persons are in institutional quarantine and 69 under home quarantine.
There are 87,331 entrants from outside the state.
