SHILLONG, APR 6: The Meghalaya Retired College Teachers’ Association (MRCTA) on Monday contributed an amount of Rs 25,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
MRCTA president B Ingty said this was in response to the appeal of the chief minister Conrad K Sangma and in appreciation of the tremendous efforts by the state government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
She said the members of the association felt it is their utmost duty to support the government in any manner, and are ready to provide further support if necessary.
The MRCTA wishes that all the citizens of the state, the country and people of the world be safe and healthy, and follow all authenticated medical advices strictly and voluntarily. “Hard times will be over soon and, hopefully, we will see a better and safer world with the cooperation of one and all,” Ingty said.
