SHILLONG, APRIL 8: The National Student’s Union of India today celebrated its Foundation day.
The programme was graced by George B. Lyngdoh, the MLA of Umroi along with Bajop Pyngrope, MDC of Rambrai along with the Working President of MPCC James S Lyngdoh and General Secretary of MPCC, Sanjay Das.
The President of NSUI Meghalaya Bansharailang Pyngrope spoke out on his love for the Congress Party who has served the nation since Independence 70 years.
The appealed to the youths and students of the state to be politically aware of what is happening in our state and nation. He also spoke on the importance of this Lok Sabha elections and the need to vote for Congress in the upcoming elections.
The Vice President Commingstar Diengngan spoke on the plight of the students regarding the scholarships and the delay in 5 th Semester NEHU results which has affected many student’s who desire to study outside the state.
The NSUI also placed on record their support to the Kiang Nongbah College’s Student Association in their demands. The representatives also spoke to the student about the politics in the nation and the state and appealed to the students to vote for the Congress party, the party that will carry forward the issues of the students since there is a bridge between them and the students through the NSUI.
