Voter helpline

SHILLONG, FEB 1: The District Election Officer, East Jaintia Hills District has informed that the District Contact Centre has been setup at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat, Room No.19, in order to ensure the ‘first point of call’ for all citizens looking for help in reference to electoral service, operating only from one universal number i.e.‘1950’, a toll free number and shall be called as ‘Voter Helpline’. The Voter Helpline will provide Information, Feedback, Suggestions & Complaints to all citizens in connection with the upcoming General Elections to the Lok Sabha 2019.
