Two engineers of MeECL awarded as best feeder managers

SHILLONG, APR 3: Two engineers of the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL) have been felicitated as best Feeder managers by the Ministry of Power, Government of India last month.

B Lyngdoh and R Kharwanlang, both working as assistant executive engineers (AEEs) under the Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL) were felicitated by the Union Minister of State (Independent charge of Power) RK Singh at New Delhi on March 22.

While Lyngdoh was awarded as best Feeder manager for ‘AT&C loss reduction’, his colleague Kharwanlang was felicitated as the best Feeder manager for ‘Energy Saving’.

Selection for an award is through an automated selection process and is based on DISCOM Feeder Data available in National Power Portal (NPP) of the Ministry of Power.
