At least 10 medical students from Meghalaya were denied admission by Assam’s medical colleges even as they have threatened to stage a hunger protest while blaming the lack of communication between the two state governments.
Meanwhile, chief minister said that legal measures have also been activated by the government.
He said the government has directed the chief secretary to immediately seek the intervention of the Supreme Court and is looking forward to a favourable resolution to the matter.
